Deming realized that “there are two sources of quality problems: faulty systems (85 percent probability) and the production worker (15 percent probability)” (Manning & Curtis, 2021, p. 184).

Discuss a faulty system you are familiar with. It might be a store you frequent often, it might be the means of display a company uses or your experience of a company’s customer service. Describe the system and discuss what quality management problems the system demonstrates.

Then, using Deming’s quality control steps, suggest a remedy.
Once you have posted your quality management scenario, discuss other students’ suggestions for remedies to the quality management they discuss — include whether you agree or disagree with the remedy (not the person) and why.
