Choose and research a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) involved in national and/or international disaster response. The NGO may be a secular or faith-based organization. Describe the NGO’s mission, history, financing, efficiency, effectiveness, reputation, and the importance of its work in disaster response operations. Describe how the organization coordinates with governmental entities involved in response and recovery. Use at least two credible secondary references. Please don’t use Operation Blessing or the Red Cross as these large international organizations will have been covered in our earlier readings. The paper should be 2000 words (+/- 250).
