Choose a company from the Fortune 500 list. Your choice must be below the top 100 (101-500) in the ranking at https://www.zyxware.com/articles/4344/list-of-fortune-500-companies-and-their-websites#rank-101-400 or you can utilize Google to find a list of Fortune 500 companies. Determine a business challenge this company faces that could be addressed through business analysis techniques, theories, and tools. Develop a general course of action using Chapter 1: Introduction of Your BABOK® Guide and lesson on PADIO on how you will go about making a decision and developing a solution to the problem you have identified. In an approximately 1000-word MS Word document, describe the company, the company’s history, the problem, the problem owner(s), the problem stakeholders, and your critical thinking and decision-making course of action for solving the problem. At a minimum, your course of action should move you through the five stages of decision-making and problem-solving: planning, analysis, designing and developing alternative solutions, implementation of the solution, and taking the solution operational (within the operational stage, address tasks of maintenance, training, and evaluation). Using Microsoft Excel, develop a Gantt schedule chart of the tasks you have outlined in your paper that will be necessary to move through in order to solve the company’s problem. Capture a screenshot of the task schedule and paste the image into the appendix of your paper (an appendix comes AFTER the reference page).
