Assignment 4: Create and Analyze Your Literature using a Synthesis Matrix

Background
The process of synthesis is somewhat complex. I encourage you to take advantage of the resources at the ASC, including the group sessions. While you will be preparing a synthesis matrix in this assignment, this will be converted into a narrative literature review identifying themes in the next. It is a good idea to get a head start.

Instructions
In this assignment, you want to add five new sources to your body of literature taking notes on each as in the past assignment. With these added sources, you will have a minimum of thirteen scholarly sources.

Prepare the attached synthesis matrix. As you examine this, try to identify common themes you will discuss in the next assignment.

You then need to submit:
Your outline for the additional five sources.
The completed the journal note template (change title to synthesis matrix)
Length: This assignment must be 6-9 pages (excluding the title and reference page).

References: Include a minimum of 13 peer reviewed journal articles.
