For this assignment, you will construct an APA Style literature review that will serve as the introduction of your final paper. Your literature review must be a substantive and scholarly analysis of the research articles you will use to support your assertions in your final paper. The focus of this paper needs to be your opinions of the research, its soundness, and the implications of the information that you will use in the final, summative paper

Your literature review must include references to five scholarly or credible sources (including your textbook) that you will use in your final paper. You may also use additional sources such as news articles, but these do not count toward your five required scholarly or credible sources. Be sure to use specific examples from your sources that support your research, analysis, and opinion.

In your literature review,

· Explain the facts of George Floyd’s arrest and death (e.g., briefly, what was he arrested for; how many police officers were on scene, facts of his passing, etc.).

· Summarize a brief, professional history about the lead officer, Derek Chauvin.

· Describe the research in enough detail that the reader has a general sense of the researcher’s hypothesis, methods, and findings.

· Evaluate research studies and papers.

· That is, rather than article summaries, your job is to describe and evaluate the research.

· Analyze implications of the research findings.
