In response to the content of this course, develop a Culturally Proficient Leadership Plan. The plan should include a reflection of your cultural identity and the experience of learning about cultures different from your own as discovered through cultural interview. The plan should include components of instructional, adaptive, and transformational leadership relevant to being a culturally equitable leader. Components of the plan should include personal leadership development (including how you will continue to grow personally as a culturally proficient leader), staff development (relevant to a culturally equitable learning environment), student success (closing gaps), parent communication, and community outreach. Include information relevant to those in poverty. This paper should be at a minimum 500 words. There should be five (5) or more outside sources. (Chapter 11 of the Hooper and Bernhardt text provides some excellent resources.)
